Weekend damage assessment

Our Monday plans were not in line with mother natures. We received just enough rain to change the plans that I had for the course. The winds are picking up and will hopefully dry things out going into Tuesday. The forecast looks like a chance of storms for the next few days.
This photo shows the practice range over the weekend. I like this photo, it shows why our range is tired going into august. In one weekend we have impacted almost one sixth of the green. This also shows that more damage is done to the range in softer conditions. It is much easier to excavate in soft soil. Sometimes we will hit from the mat to allow the range to firm up a bit, this will also help us keep some turf on it.
Make sure to pack your umbrella, Ella, Ella,
