Warmest April on record
What a change from a year ago. It is hard to believe that it is only the first week of May, it feels more like the first of June, in more ways than one! It has been very difficult to get any of our project work done, the growing grass is demanding our attention. We have begun some small aerification today, and will complete it tomorrow. The holes that we punched on friday of last week are almost healed in and I would think that you will not notice any difference in ball roll by thursday. We are pleased with our rooting and the way that the drainage project on the white nine has helped those putting surfaces. Looks like the owl babies may have left the nest, and we had a visit from an osprey over the weekend.
See you on the tee-
