Ahhh, the pleasures of spring.
Is it a winter wonderland at Briar? No, it is cottonwood season, and I can't do justice to my emotions for those trees. The rainfall from last week saturated the ground very well. So well, in fact, that the nearly half inch we received monday, is still standing water in places. This means that the short straight hitter is going to take the money from the long ball, keep it in the fairway tonight for mens league. We are doing are best to get to areas that are dry enough to mow, however that only seems to be about 20 percent of the rough. The forecast is for temps in the eighties, so any grass we mow today, will be long by Sunday. Just remember that there is a premium on accuracy right now, and keep any thoughts of additional rain away.....please.
